In the lead up to an Ashes summer, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) are pleased to announce a new offer for women aged 14 and over. Aligning to Sport England’s “This Girl Can” campaign, four fun, social, inclusive cricket festivals will take place over two weekends in June. Chatting, having a laugh and smashing the ball over the boundary will be delivered in equal measures through these festivals.
For less than the price of a cinema ticket (£5 per person/£25-35 per team) each participant will be handed a goody bag upon arrival which includes a team t-shirt, vouchers for food and drink throughout the day and other handy items. Fabulous prizes will be available for many unique moments that capture the festival atmosphere of these festivals. #Thisgirlcan… play cricket!
