Yorkshire Tea National Cricket Week will be held from 22-26 June in 2015. Over 1,500 schools take part every year and turn their timetable over to cricket. Through the ECB’s Schools Challenge, chance to shine provide schools with cross-curricular cricket lesson plans, from teaching coordinates of a cricket field in Maths to pinpointing cricket playing countries in Geography. This year, schoolchildren all over the country will compete in inter-school cricket tournaments at their local clubs and even on the beach!
