Congratulations to Walmley Under 13s who made it all the way to the U13 NatWest National Club Championship final playing for the Ken Barrington Cup. Walmley won the Warwickshire Cup then saw off the Worcestershire winners, then won two more games to become Midlands Champions and then beat Cirencester in the national semi- final.
In the final played at the magnificent Rugby School Walmley restricted Broadstairs CC from Kent to 99-9 from their 20 overs. However, this proved too much as Broadstairs picked up regular wickets with Walmley being bowled out for 74. It was a tremendous effort to make it to the final.
