The Warwickshire Cricket Board, which is responsible for recreational cricket in Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire, seeks expressions of interest from persons interested in becoming Non Executive Board Directors.
This is an exciting and interesting opportunity for personal development and to participate in the continuing development of recreational cricket in an organisation passionate about increasing participation, encouraging many more children to play and helping cricketers of all ages to fulfil their potential, and developing women’s and girls’ cricket.
Whilst an interest in cricket or recreational sport more generally would be an advantage, energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to engage with under-represented and diverse communities are equally important.
Expressions of interest are particularly welcomed from females, members of the minority ethnic communities and younger adults, all of whom are currently underrepresented on the Board.
Ideally we are looking to recruit directors with fundraising, income generation, marketing and communication skills but we are also open to people whose life experiences would bring appropriate skills.
