The Chance To Shine Ramadan League has concluded for 2021 with a fantastic last night . Amid a large presence of Media coverage, showing the impact this League has made, the night started with the prayers lead by coach Waqas Khan, and was followed by a massive surprise for the players.
There was an inspiration video message from England , Worcestershire and Birmingham Phoenix icon Moeen Ali, with the winning team offered free tickets to a Birmingham Phoenix Hundred Match. Just before play began all the players were also given a bit more inspiration for the night by being awarded with Birmingham Phoenix caps.
The evening consisted of final group matches before a 3rd Place play off and a Grand Final with a Presentation Ceremony to conclude. Team Sparkhill were the League Winners , Team Saltley Runners Up Team Nechells 3rd Place and Team Aston 4th Place. Their were also individual awards for Rahim Nader — Saltley ( Most wickets ) and Manan Satar Janjua — Aston ( Most Runs )
A great initiative and very successful first Ramadan League.
