WCB have been running Chance To Shine street sessions throughout the year across Birmingham. The projects are run after- school or at weekends at sports halls, youth clubs, parks and community centres for two age groups: Youths (8-16 year old) and Young Adults (16-24 year old). Participants who part-take in Chance To Shine Street projects then get the opportunity to participate in local competitions against other projects, with the possibility of progressing to regional and national competitions every year for the under 15 and under 12 age groups.

Below are the teams qualifying for Chance To Shine National Competitions:

Youth Nationals:

One team from Birmingham (under 15's) qualified for the Youth Nationals taking place at Nottingham on Wednesday 31st July. Under 12's competition is taking place on Thursday 30th May at Joseph Chamberlain College

Young Adults Nationals:

Three teams, Birmingham 1 (Nechells), Coventry 1 and Birmingham 3 (Aston) have qualified for Young Adults Nationals taking place at Lords's on Friday 2nd August.
