The Cricket Activator course is designed to help you
- Identify and understand the various roles that make cricket happen
- Understand the expectations of people in these roles
- Promote cricket to get more people playing more often.
Who should attend?
- Age 14 – 18 years
- People wishing to volunteer in any way at all in getting cricket played and played more often.
- Students at specialist sports colleges and secondary schools to enable them to work with younger age group students
- Young people assisting with local cricket activities as a volunteer
Course structure
- 6 hours tutor delivery – this may be delivered as 1x6 or 2x3 hours sessions
- The course is based on the Sports Leader methodology and competencies and candidates will be required to complete 10 hours of volunteering hours prior to being certificated.
